Cercha Technologies

Why we named it Cercha

You need to know who is building a tool before you bring your business into it. Cercha Technologies builds technology for residential construction.

The Cercha app is the first product from Cercha Technologies, a technology company. It brings builders, general contractors, remodelers, subs, crews, and building suppliers together through profiles, project photos, endorsements, and direct messages.

In Spanish, cercha can mean a truss. The Real Academia Española’s dictionary gives this architectural definition in sense 2:

Armadura que sostiene la cubierta de un edificio.

In English: the framework that holds up a building’s roof. Read the RAE entry for cercha.

The name gives the product its central image: different members supporting a shared structure. A house takes different businesses doing their part. Cercha helps those people find each other and start a conversation.

Read what a roof truss is or explore trusses and engineered wood suppliers.

A builder can review project photos before asking about a start. A sub can show the scope it handles. A supplier can list carried brands. The app gives each introduction work to discuss.

The beta is open in the Raleigh-Durham Triangle first. Cercha opens other markets one at a time. If you work elsewhere, join the waitlist and tell us your market.

Search, portfolios, endorsements, and Messages help you review a business and start a conversation. Confirm the scope, current credentials, and working agreement directly with that business.
